Trending: #Crème Brûlée Vaseline

Twitter has been buzzing with numerous #hashtags (from beauty bloggers and make up fanatics) about Vaseline’s latest variation of its classic Petroleum Jelly.  The limited edition Crème Brûlée Lip Therapy Vaseline is currently only available at Selfridges Oxford Street and Manchester Exchange Square. But luckily for the rest of us, it goes nationwide on 3rd November.

Skin SOS: C’est Magnifique…Vichy Dermablend Foundation.

Beauty editors and bloggers are constantly searching for ‘the perfect foundation’ but the perfect foundation does not exist – FACT. The search is even tougher for those amongst us who have problematic badly behaved skin, as discovering a foundation that provides coverage without looking like we have the whole MAC counter on is difficult to find. And it seems advice on this issue from beauty journalists is practically non-existent…until now.

My skin saviour (along with L’ Oréal Infallible Concealer) is Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation. It provides UNBELIEVEABLE coverage as it contains 30% more pigmentation than standard foundations. The foundation blends beautifully when used with a brush and has duration of 6-8 hours. It seems Vichy have come pretty close to providing a solution for serious imperfections such as acne scars, rosacea, uneven skin tone and sun spots. The only downside…a very limited colour range.
