Save vs Splurge | Sea Salt Spray
Ok folks…I have the finest and flattest hair known to mankind so I have spent most of my life trying to add volume to it. My desire for the tousled surfer girl Olsen twin look means I frequently use Sea Salt Spray to add much needed texture. So I am putting the premium priced Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray to the test against the reasonably priced Lee Stafford Beach Babe Sea Salt Spray.
Hair Envy – The Chic Tousled Olsen Twin Look
Lee Stafford Beach Babe Sea Salt Spray – £7.49 for 150ml
This product smells amazing compared to the Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray. It gave me the wavy tousled look I desired by adding lots of volume. Plus, the waves lasted all day! But it did give my hair a really sticky texture…bit odd for a Sea Salt Spray.
Bumble And Bumble Surf Spray – £19 for 120ml
I’m in love…with an inanimate hair product. The Surf Spray transformed my naturally poker straight locks into tousled beach waves effortlessly. I sprayed it on my damp hair and then put it in a tight top knot. About 10 minutes later, I took the top knot out and the waves were ready to go! It creates a very matte textured effect on hair without leaving a sticky residue.
Save vs Splurge
SPLURGE…in this case the Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray wins hands down.
